Currents is an annual group exhibition, showcasing works by recently graduated artists from art academies in Belgium, Germany, and the southern Netherlands. The exhibition is at Marres (NL) or Z33 (BE) and will be embedded in a broader guidance trajectory in which training, networking and professionalization are central. Marres and Z33 jointly present the exhibition Currents #6 and FLACC strengthens the project by a workplace project for 4 selected artists. These artists are Pavel Balta, Nasrin Tork, Eric Patel en Elena Aya Bundurakis.
In the months October and November the 4 selected artists are staying for 3 weeks at FLACC. The focus is on deepening the artistic qualities of the work, feedback and broadening the professional network of the artists. Some will develop their work futherto be presented at Currents#6 while others start with a new body of work.
