Self-Sustaining Creative Economy Award
The director of Arts Santa Monica and the curator in one of the meetings to obtain funding
The call for entries for this award was launched by the artists Núria Güell and Levi Orta, in the context of the exhibition Triggering imbalance organized at Arts Santa Mònica (May-July 2015) as part of the exhibition cycle Shots in the Middle of the Concert and is part of their workplace project at FLACC, with the aim of promoting the values of artistic creation and extending them into the sphere of social utility. In the context of their project Degenerated political Art, the Patrons Debt they created a call for entries for the Self-Sustaining Creative Economy Award open to European proposals, with an award of 9,500 euros to be put towards implementing the winning project.
As an artistic project, this call for entries was in conjuction with the Fundació Banc Sabadell, FLACC and Arts Santa Mònica.
