Passage is a European network for young artists. A selection of thirty students from ten European Academies of Arts will show their works in Cjour, IKA, nOna (Mechelen) and the Brussels Beursschouwburg from 10 January until 23 February 2008. FLACC has selected eight artists for a concentrated working period in Genk during the months of November and December: Matthias Fritsch (D), Martin Lorenz (D), Ieva Kabasinskaite (LT), Patricia Röder (D), Kristin Rogghe (B), Marijke Verkaart (B), Ruth Viaene (B) and Tobias Wootton (D). Initiator of PASSAGE is Contour Mechelen. The participating Academies of Arts are Sint-Lukas (Brussels), ZKM (Karlsruhe), Ecole Supérieure d'Art (Clermont-Ferrand), Academy of Fine Arts (Vilnius), Estonian Academy of Arts (Tallinn), University of Art and Industrial Design (Linz), Metropolitan University (Leeds ), Goldsmiths University (London), AKI (Enschede) and Sint-Lucas (Ghent).
