Stéphane Querrec (FR, 1979) lives and en works in Berlijn. Oral aggression plays a pivotal role in his work. He is interested in addressing both the act of oral speech as well as what constitutes a speech, or more precisely, how one could re-consider and re actualize the relationship between the theory of the death drive, orality and agency, within an artistic practice.

So far, four video performances have been completed: Flow, Blow, Flaw, and Return to Sender. They were supported by the Bonner Kunstverein (Germany 2007), the Bonnefanten Museum (The Netherlands 2008), Basis Frankfurt (Germany 2009) and the Jan van Eyck Academie (The Netherlands).
