Izabel Angerer

After spells in Munich, Berlin and Salzburg and residences in St Petersburg and Cape Town, Izabel Angerer settled permanently in Antwerp.
Among other things, the Austrian’s work consists of minimal interventions in a public space, projects that dare to draw attention to problems like social integration. At the same time the interventions are also highly poetical in content. For example, she made detailed pencil drawings - portraits of migrants and migrant communities - on containers, packagings, walls and lorries.
