Chloé Dierckx (b. 1990 Brasschaat) obtained a Master of Fine Arts at St. Lucas in Antwerp in 2012. Her work is inspired by her interest in the role of art in society; she questions the existing forms and operative systems of artistic, political, social and economic phenomena, often by appropriating their strategies. Her projects often arise in context with and in relation to a specific community. Some of her projects include “Herstappe (Creating Perfect Unity)” in which the colours in the smallest village of Belgium are adjusted to ideal proportions, and “The Story of an Air Bubble”, in which a dynamic bubble is created which is, incidentally, still growing to this day.
