Charlotte van Wouwe

Charlotte Van Wouwe (BE,1988) graduated as a Master of Liberal Arts Sint- Lucas Ghent. With a passion for glassblowing as well as for wind instruments, she started to explore the possibilities of glass made wind instruments.
Meanwhile the project resulted in quite a sizeable collection of playable instruments. With the ensemble Soplarte brings Charlotte Van Wouwe a program in which the sound possibilities and limitations of this melodic (non-chromatic) instrument can be explored in concert.
Soplarte is Charlotte Van Wouwe and Berlinde Deman in duo, with Bart Maris and Marie-Anne Standaert in quartet.
